> Try A2 in A1 slot passes POST -> reboot at least 3xĪnd so on to verify they all work every time? You tried ALL RAM sticks in the main slot (your manual will tell you what that is) several times? As in try DIMM A1 -> passes POST -> reboot at least 3x to see if it works everytime RAM: 4x Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 I've attached the results of my testing.Īny ideas to what i can try to get my computer to boot with all 4 sticks of RAM? With some configuraitons the computer boots, with others it does not. I then tried just the new stick in slot A1, and again, the system booted fine.Īnd this is where it all gets very confusing to me. I have of course tested that all RAM modules work fine, and i have tried many different RAM placements and configurations to verify thal all motherboard slots are working. I removed the new stick in slot A1 (closest to CPU), and the system booted fine. Fans turn on and go to 100%, some motherboard lighting is on but not as normal, but no display input.
Unfortunately, the system wouldn't post when i installed them. So i just bought two more 8GB RAM sticks for my PC, identical to the old ones of course.
